Looking for fabric for an envelope quilt... HELP

Hi I'm making an envelope quilt for a girl friend. She and I use to write letters to each other weekly. That is until email, facebook, etc....
What I'm looking for is fabric that looks like someone has written a letter. Or maybe stamps. Something that would tie in with the theme. Thank you

Above is a link to the fabrics that MSQC carries in that category. Good Luck!
    Then there is always the "You've got mail" quilt tutorial, link below;

Re: Looking for fabric for an envelope quilt... HELP

I've seen quilts with blocks that included personally written notes. That would be a great option too I think.
      Sounds like a wonderful project.
Best of luck in your fabric quest.

It's an older line, but if you google it "Elizabeth's Letters by Henry Glass" you may still find some. There is one print that looks like handwritten letters.

Note to Missouri Star - I wish you would carry the Henry Glass Fabrics!?!?!?!?!?

I see you are also from Tacoma! Check at Parkland Parish, I think I just saw some writing fabric there last week. Also, check at Trains, they won't be open till Tuesday though. If you don't know where they are, let me know and I will send you their address.
                pat.

                  Bubba, Thank you for responding.
I've been to Trains. But never been to Parkland Parish, always wanted to go. Now I have a reason. LOL.
Trains is up on the hill top, around 19th and something. Lots of fabric in a little shop, plus really nice people.

You know what might be cute? Doing the You Got Mail and alternate the "envelope" block with a plain block that is the letter writing fabric.

                      Thank you for your response.
I really like the one on Etsy. If I can't find another I like better I get it.
                      Again thanks and happy quilting.

That is really sweet and thoughtful.
Since you're always on my mind can you straighten out the mess up there?
