Would I want the regular or jumbo sized wonder clips if I plan to use them to hold my binding in place while sewing?

Re: Clover Wonder Clips
The regular are the perfect size for binding. But, if you move your quilt around a lot (I do because I hand bind and pick up and put down the quilt a lot), then I suggest the little clips that are like hair clips. Ummm, don't use them in your hair as they will pull out your hair. yeah, ask me how I know.

I just finished my binding and said to myself, man I love those binding clips! They are amazing! I just use the regular ones.

Thanks so much! I'm so glad I asked before I ordered the jumbo clips that I had on my Amazon wish list!

Re: Clover Wonder Clips
I totally agree-I tend to buy all sorts of sewing gadgets. Someone in the forum suggested the hair binding clips last year and I bought them on a whim. Glad I did. I like both the wonder clips and the hair ones. The biggest difference I have noticed so far is my husband tends to "borrow" my wonder clips for little household things (he leaves the hair ones alone). Oh well, better than borrowing my scissors.

Thanks for the suggestion! I might have to order these, too! One can never have too many sewing gadgets, right?

Re: Clover Wonder Clips
I got the first pkg of 10 on a DD and I loved them. Got a box of 50 at Amazon for around $16, which was much cheaper than buying the little packs of 10 at regular price of $7. They're not only great for binding but other things too, such as holding my numbered fabrics for foundation piecing. I also use them a lot when I'm getting my blocks ready to sew together. I stack the whole row, label and put on a binder clip til I'm ready to sew everything together. It's amazing how organized that I can be when the mood strikes!

Re: Clover Wonder Clips
Santa bought the big box of regular (red) Wonder Clips on a Black Friday sale and tucked them in my stocking.
I really like them for bindings and holding seams together while hand-sewing openings of pillow covers & stuffed animals too. I haven't had them long enough for them to be the first thing I grab though.Be who you are and say what you feel
