None of the above for me. The page brings up various patterns and I am thinking the one you are asking about is applique? Very pretty design.

Not me! Too much bad folklore around that pattern!

I was looking at the top far right. I clicked the picture but I guess the link didn't work doing that.

What's the bad folklore? Do tell.

looks like turkey tracks pattern to me. Just another name for it.

Sorry Sandy, should read all posts and links before posting.

It is also called Turkey Trot. It is template pieced and has those dreaded "Y" seams int it. Here is a tutorial with templates to make it. Scrappy n' Happy: QAL block 16 ? Wandering Foot Tutorial

I personally hate template piecing. I guess I just prefer those straight lines (with a curve thrown in sometimes) !!!!

I've been around some people that I'd love to give this quilt to . . . just saying.

I like the Turkey Trot name though.

                      Thanks for the history lessons!

I really like the purple and green one I pointed out in my link. I reminded me of Jean and her Irish Chains.

I was looking at the block tutorial, but how do you get the little squares connecting the blocks?

looks to me like those are added with sashing.

Interesting history here. Who knew... Good reading. I like the quilt but don't want to tackle paper piecing.
