Hahaha, I have actually used 2 of those, as sashings and to snowball corners on blocks. I can't come up with any ideas of what to do with one on it's own though.

      I - is it INSPIRING?

I have a solid pastel colors regular jelly roll. Not sure what pattern to use. Maybe sashing charm squares?

Maybe mix it up with a regular jelly roll and do a race quilt?

Would it be funny looking to use as sashing cause it is a few different shades of neutrals? Snowballing corners might be the best option.

I was thinking of doing a log cabin with a solid jelly roll I won at a local quilt shop.

Look on Moda bake shop put 30's jelly roll in the search = ideas for pastels. Might use the neutrals as spacers in a jelly roll race or as mentioned to snowball blocks

The second time today to think of this, My Blue Heaven by Bonnie Hunter would use a lot of neutral fabrics if you have lots of blues to go with it. I guess you could make it green Heaven or purple heaven.

not sure how much you have or if it's yardage or a jelly roll... but there is a darling pattern called Falling blocks I believe that Jenny has on her tutorials.. I am using Bella Solid snow on mine.. If it's an assortment of neutrals... they also play very well with bright and cheerful colors mixed with it. And no, I am far from a special quilter. Everything I do is a new experience even when it's the same block.. go for it! You may find yourself with a very trendy and happy quilt for a young person who will love it!!!!

On Jenny's new Jelly roll race tute someone commented about how nice one would look with a white JR and bright colored squares.
