Civil War Quilt Patter for Jelly Roll

Does anyone have a good idea for a pattern for a Civil War quilt made from Civil War jelly roll fabric? All I can think of is a log cabin pattern and that doesn't seem very Civil War to me. I have a book on Jelly Roll quilts but the patterns seem so contemporary.

This could be made with a jelly roll: http://quilting.about.com/od/quiltpa...age_chains.htm
    And here's another one: http://www.patternsfromhistory.com/c.../cot_quilt.htm

I made one of these strip twist quilts using a jelly roll and it turned out really well http://www.quiltville.com/striptwist.shtml. It's not too modern and I think it would work well with civil war fabrics.

You might also "google" civil war quilts and then go to the menu on the left and click on "images. Lots of examples of civil war quilts show up. I like the one that is four-patch on point in vertical rows with vertical sashing in between the rows. You'd need to buy some yardage for the setting triangles. This one looks so simple that, depending on your experience, you might not need a pattern. I think it would look really good in one of those Civil War jellyrolls.

not sure if this is the one you sent to me

but it's the one I've picked out for now! I won't be starting this quilt for a little while so if you see any others, send them my way. Thanks!
