My sweet daughter had finally started attempting quilting. Needless to day my stash ended up at her house. While going through her things I found something she had started. It's just 2 1/2 in strips that she had been sewing together in very sweet colors and prints. I want to finish them. I am trying to figure out the best number of strips to use so as not to have two matching. I am using the sewing it together and then cutting the oval into strips again. Taking each one and separating it at each different block per strip. Judging from the size, it would be a darling wall hanging that I could possibly embroidery something special on for her oldest daughter. My blessed daughter passed away this passed Oct after numerous illnesses. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you be able to offer.

Re: advice on round the world pattern
You definitely came to the right place - come often and get in touch again with your quilting talent. A tribute to your daughter with something she had started will be a true treasure for her daughter.Sometimes, when there's a raging fire,
it's best not to try to put it out with gasoline.
