    Flannel

I love to make the chenille baby quilts. The ones I make use flannel. Do you find that one flannel is better than another?

Yes, quilting quality flannel is a LOT different than the Snuggle flannel that you get from Joann's or places like that. You only have to feel the fabrics to tell the difference.

    H - is it HELPFUL?
    I - is it INSPIRING?
    N - is it NECESSARY?
    K - is it KIND?

There is a difference, but for the chenille quilts, I have used the flannel from Joann's and they turn out great. I especially like to use the 1/4" diagonally checked patterned one for the top layer and then you don't have to mark your stitching lines.
