Do you use all the charm squares. Charm pack has 42 pieces and jelly roll 40.

Unless you have some other fabric in your stash to use for those 2 squares I would just do the 40. In Jenny's pattern she used 42 charms and 42 strips and laid the quilt out 6 x 7.

I make this quilt often and I buy an extra charm pack so I can use all 42 (6X7). I use the rest to work into the border or a tote.
