    Border help for DD quilt

    Hi

Do you think this will work for borders for the Zipper quilt ?

I think a 3" or 4" of the lighter fabric and a 2,5" of the golden to finish.

To bind it I am leaning towards a chocholat brown fabric.

    Any thoughts ?

    Will this work ?

Here is picture of the fabrics and of the whole quilt.

    Thank you

    Annika

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I LOVE the quilt! I'm no help with border advice. I'm terrible with color coordinating and have to play around with width, etc. I wish I was better at visualizing things.

I think I'd like it w/a dark color for the inner border....maybe a dark purple? I would do that one only about 2" wide and then the outer one in the dots and wider.

I love the lighter color for the first border, and the darker for the second. You could even just do the one lighter border and bind in the darker. I love that fabric...It is pieces of hope, right?

Dark brown thin inner border, dots for the outer border?
