Replacing blade in Olfa rotary cutter

I need to replace my blade in my Olfa rotary cutter. Went to their website and watched the how to video, but have a problem. The first thing to do is unscrew the black nut on one side. I can't get the darn thing off! It's righty-tighty, and lefty loosy, right? Got some plyers and everything and that nut isn't turning! Any ideas for me? TIA

Just a thought but try doing it in the other direction. That is a general rule, but not always the case. Trust me when I say I found this out the hard way

It is righty tighty, lefty loosey. Maybe a little bit of DW40 would help? I have Fiskars though so I'm just giving a guess.

I use the square foam pads that open up jars. I found out it works really well for me
Good friends are like quilts, they age with you but, never lose their warmth

If you put the cutter down on the table, with the nut facing up, turn the nut counter-clockwise. I have 2 rotary cutters, different brands, different styles, and they both turn the same way.
