    Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen?

Anyone have one? Tried one? Thoughts?

Also wondering if there is a way to get the hopping foot to stop hopping. I modified my current foot so it wouldn't hop at the hopping would be annoying.

    Thanks,
    Vita

I found this forum thread. Perhaps it will help you out. My LQS sells these and I drool every time I go there.

I have a sweet 16 and love it for free motion and ruler work! Setting the tensions takes patience and practice. I bought tension gauges for the bobbin and top threads, a bit pricey but worth every penny

I looked through the threads, didn't find anything on if anyone has been able to modify the foot so it's not hopping but stays still… I've gotten used to that since I modified my FMQ foot per Leah Day's instructions… My husband is more interested in getting a long arm with frame. I'm still completely undecided but I have time to think it over. Thanks everyone!

I have a Handiquilter longarm and love it, don't know much about the Sweet Sixteen. Call Handiquilter at 1-877-MY-QUILT or a dealer and ask any questions you may have. The people are Handiquilter are super nice and will be a big help to you.
