I'm a forever beginning quilter. You really can't teach an old dog new tricks. I would love to make a Minky patchwork quilt for my grandson soon to arrive. It creeps and crawls-not the baby--he's not here yet--but the material. I know pin, pin, pin. That helps but is there something I'm missing?

Re: Minky patchwork Quilt
I have done this but I have heard other quilters say they lay a piece of tissue paper either on top or the bottom (can't remember which) of the seam that they are.sewing. after the seam is sewn just tear the tissue paper off. I wouldn't worry about the little ittty bitty pieces that get stuck under the stitches as it will eventually dislodge and dissolve in the wash
