    Puppy Love D9P

I just love this Puppy Love fabric. I still have one charm pack left so I can use it in the border, if necessary. My mind seems to be on hold for border ideas. I have plenty of black fabric, some white, and a little red.

Do you think the 3 colors in the quilt is enough, or do I need a pop color in the border? I'm open for suggestions! Maybe I'm overthinking as it's already pretty busy!

I think I would do a thin red border first then the black.

I love red, so I would probably put a small red border in there somewhere as well. THis is so darn cute!

It's so cute! I'd use red or red and black for the border.

What Karen said. This is the CP I gave my GD to work on. After realizing it is directional, I am taking it back. Thank goodness she hadn't sewn but 7 prs together, lol.

I think you gals are all right. A narrow red border and then the black should look great. Thanks for your suggestions!

I used the Disappearing 9 patch I-Spy version where all the blocks face the same direction. I used one print and one white charm pack. I only goofed on the striped charms. They're all the same direction and I thought I switched some! I used Jenny's tut but laid out the I-spy charms direction with this tutorial. Love this quilt!

I agree with what Karen suggested. That red border would really set off the cornerstones.

Is that quilt for a little boy?

So cute. I love red, I would use a small red border also.

Hey Sharyn. Love your puppy quilt. Yes I agree that red and black borders is a great way to finish off this quilt. It is a really fun fabric. I checked out all the fabulous projects on your website. Great imagination.

I think red would really make this pop. I love this fabric. Still kicking myself for not buying it when it was the DD.

I had another idea for an I Spy quilt, but I think I like this better. I recently tried to sash a quilt for the first time and struggled. This looks like a better idea. Thanks!
