How do you make sure the strips are not twisted when sewing the long sides together?

DSCN9172 (Small).JPGThis is a throw I made, started out using a jelly roll then switched to some FQ and cut them but you get the idea of how it is.

it doesn't matter if the fabric gets twisted.... you can adjust that as you are cutting the pieces
please excuse me...i just joined because i saw the show this morning and wanted to possibly see more...
