I made the tumbling blocks as part of the Craftsy BOM 2013. I am sort of new at quilting, about a year or so. I was able to make the block with very little trouble. I actually hope to make a full quilt of the tumbling blocks. I love the look

If using the Y seam method... I would say this pattern is NOT for the beginner. Then there are those "beginners" out there that breeze right along and make beautiful quilts without realizing how hard it is for most people to sew a perfect 1/4 inch seam.
So if you are determined and LOVE it.. GO FOR IT!! Just make it small, then you can tell if it is a quilt you want to enlarge or skip..

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
Thank you so much! I have to watch it a second time, especially the first one. I couldn't get over the commercial ad in the beginning... poo-pourri. LOLOL I think they are going to be a lot of help!
