Free motion on a Janome Magnolia 7138

Does anyone know if free motion quilting is possible on this machine? I have tried everything and cannot get the tension right. I can always see the bobbin thread. Really disappointed that I cant get this figured out.

You can free motion on any machine. My suggestion would be to make some practice sandwiches. Set your tension between 4-5. Your stitch length to 0. Sound like your hands are going faster than the machine. It is all about the timing. Once you get that down you will be ok. Slow down going around curves. Practice practice practice.

Check out Leah Day's class on Craftsy-or her website(link below). She is doing a FMQ series starting Monday -Building Blocks-I signed up and cannot wait to start! I love her method of teaching all the tricks of the trade for FMQ.
