Hi there,
I am making a king size quilt from charm packs. So far I have measured each block to be 9"sq and I will need 8 blocks down and wide.
I would like to add sashing to this, but not sure what the best way of doing this. If I add sashing to each side of the block that is okay, but what about the horizontal sashing? I cannot see how you can get one long piece of fabric without cutting against the grain if you know what I mean.
Should I just add smaller (11") sashing on the bottom of each block to seperate the rows?
Know it is a silly question, but don't want to ruin my quilt by being silly!
Thank you!
