    Re: Quilting Magazines

I like American Patchwork & quilting by Better Homes and Gardens. Also a friend of mine is sending me a magazine script from Fons & Porter. They are both very enjoyable. Hugs, Jan L

      Re: Quilting Magazines

I, too, subscribe to American Patchwork & Quilting by Better Homes and Gardens and really like it. I often will pick up a magazine at the news stand if I see something I'm interested in. However, with the internet I feel I have all those sources available at my fingertips and it's easier for me to go there for ideas and suggestions rather than trying to remember where I read a specific article . . . just my take.

I like McCall's Quick Quilts the most. I have made several quilts that were in their magazines.

                    Re: Quilting Magazines

I also subscribe to McCalls Quick Quilts. It contains such wonderful information and in every issue, it contains the basic instructions on how to complete a quilt...from A to Z.

I find the instructions are very accurate and it also offers web bonus patterns in each issue. I have cancelled other subscriptions and continued only this one. Highly recommend!!

I have a digital subscription to Quilter's World magazine and I really like it. With the digital subscription, you also have access to their archives so you can look back at their magazines for several years. I just download and print any quilt instructions I want.

I really enjoy McCall's Quick Quilts, I seem to always want to make every quilt they display. The directions for their projects are well written, not too complicated, and the projects are "quick" to put together. I also like the digital subscription to Quilter's World, everything is where you know it will be (on the computer). Hugs to all!
