using a regular triangle or square to cut them?

are you confused as to what I'm talking about? I saw this tutorial on you tube

Hi Shell,
I just watched the tutorial and I think you can use a regular ruler. I think they are just using the triangular ruler to ensure that you get a square block. You should try it and let us know!

Kind of a fun way to get a couple things done at once And I agree as long as you can get your angles pretty set and your watching where your seams are on the cut square you should be fine! Fun new technique!

Natalie and I tried it with a regular ruler today and as long as you get your angle right it works great and is a fun new trick!

OMGosh!!!! You guys have done it again. I am getting so many cool ideas from you. I love this tube quilting. It makes such neat blocks. And it looks soooooo easy. WOW! I am so excited. My project wish list is getting longer every day. I loved this tutorial too.

Hello, I am new here to because last night when i could'nt sleep I found the tutorial her for tube quilting. It looks very interesting and fast to work up some projects. I have to order a jelly roll.
I looked around this site and found a lot of info. so just signed up. Thank You girls for all your help.
