    Flying geese ruler?

I’ve sewn flying geese in the past and managed to square them up using the rulers I have with 45 degree lines, etc. I’m doing the Moda Blockheads 5 sew along and after 2 blocks I can tell it would be easy with a ruler made specifically for flying geese.

    what ruler do you use?

    thanks

I use the Wing Clipper. It's super easy. https://www.amazon.com/Clipper-quilt...s%2C111&sr=8-1

I'm working on a quilt that has flying geese units. I cut all the pieces according to the directions. Now, I wish I had cut them oversize so I had room to trim them to size. Instead, I have to be soooo careful with my geese blocks (stitch and flip method) so they come out the exact right size.

I haven't used the Wing Clipper, but I've seen the demonstration and I'm intrigued by it and curious to hear what others have to say.

I ordered the Wing Clipper so I’ll post my comments after I use it.

Make Flying Geese Patches quickly and accurately every time with no measuring necessary! Just line up the triangle lines on the ruler with the 45 degree sewn lines and trim the patch the size of the ruler! The Mini Geese Ruler Set contains two Mini F

I have used the above rulers for the 2x4 FG. There are instructions in the above link to make FG.
They are also available in different sizes depending on the project.
