    Stippling vs meandering

Can anyone give me their definition of these?

As I understand it, stippling is extremely close stitching, while meandering is the same type of pattern on a larger scale - resulting in jigsaw like designs.

stippling is a random non pattern specific type of all over quilting

meandering is more of a leisurely walk in the park....curvy and wide and easy on the eyes.
