    I hate math

So, I’ve made the ‘on point’ charm quilt and loved it. I want to make the charm-square portion a bit larger, but the math intimidates me! The one in the pattern is 6 squares X 12 squares and the cutting instructions to make it become ‘on point’ are precise. I tried increasing width and length by 3 squares each (9X15) and the cutting part doesn’t work (I’m only on paper, thank goodness!) I have a feeling I’m just thinking about it wrong. Help?

You need to keep the length to width ratio the same, so you will need to have twice as many rows as you have squares in the row. 7 x 14, 8 x 16, 9 x 18 etc. should work.

If I ever got it all together, I'd be too tired to do anything with it.

Idk but I hate math too! I think somebody should make a tshirt with that on it. They'd make a killing.

        Looks like someone did.😁

I also hate math. That's why I have a degree in history.

There's nothing more directly linked to who we are than the fabric that we make.

Jenny's tutorial today should help you. She demonstrates that on point technique with 10 inch squares, but she addresses the ratio to use when sewing your blocks.
