How do you join corners for a Seminole border

I've done a fair amount of seminole pieced borders. If I want a complete wrap of the design, I will make the effort of sizing my strips to match exactly, leaving the shortest edge to overlap and match. Boy, that's a lot of effort with a lot of chance for error when sewn down, So, being lazy and not wanting to do some ripping, I cut short and fill with background color (ex: hanging gardens borders). Or I will use a cornerstones in some other fabric that works.
You gots to risk it to gets the biscuit-

Eleanor Burns has the instructions in the second segment of the Triple Irish Chain YouTube tutorial. That video shows how to build and attach the Seminole border. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUPbTbiRqy0

I had to look up what a Seminole border was. It's a new term to me. Several web sites out there that show how to make it.
