How to get the folds out of packaged polyester batting

My local JoAnn's had packaged polyester batting buy one get one free, so I thought since I am using the quilt as you go method I will try polyester instead of warm and natural. I have cut my 18" squares and laid them out flat for two days, but the folds are still there! Any suggestions on how to get them out?

You might try tossing a couple into a low heat dryer for 10 min or so. That is usually what I do with my packaged batting but I do it before I cut it up. I wouldn't put too many in at a time as they might twist together.

Thank you I will try that and next time I will toss it in the dryer before I cut it up I thought they would relax by laying them flat for a couple of days but not the case.
