I need simple ideas for a border

Hi guys, I have done this simple quilt with butterflies appliqué, but I have run out of ideas for a border.
Sorry terrible pic. I was thinking in a cream inner border 2.5 inch and the outer border of 3.5 inc in baby blue (same fabric as one in the quilt) but I think quite boring. Any ideas????

the butterfly is darling... i think that a one inch boader and then a six inch fat border woud look nice then have extra applique butter flies would look so pretty...

but it is up to you on how you do it and do what you want... very pretty...

Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous. I think a white border to frame the quilt top and then a ribbon border would look really cute:

I really like JR's idea, the thinner white/cream and then her ribbon border, that would be very sweet. With that border being constructed from strips the same as your quilt it would all tie in nicely together.

                OK, that is really cool!

Not only the idea, but also the fact that she could get the image to the computer. JR you are amazing! I'm gonna have to try that too!

Yikes, I seriously can't take credit for the images - they were from a google search but they come up on a random page so I can't give credit to whoever did them in the first place. I was lucky to find a picture that described exactly what I wanted to show though.

I had to come back to this border because I can't get it off my mind! What if I tried it larger and made strips or some kind of blocks out of it??? Ohhh the ideas!
