    Can You See IT?

Okay, this is my first one and I am SUPER happy about how it turned out, really didn't think I could do it! It only took me just shy of 3 hours to do! Still need borders and such but at least I got the main part done! Now, the question is, can you see it or did I really mess it up?!

it's gorgeous!! I love the fabric you chose and that you were so brave to use red as your solid!! Most people shy away from red due to it running, but I love red and think it should be used more in quilts.....

                  GREAT JOB!!!

What a great photo! Did you have someone standing on a chair? It looks like some kind of display board.
Anyways, it's beautiful! Your first one? You did an awesome job. I knew it was a carpenters wheel - really did turn out beautiful.

OH GOSH! Thank you so much Trish! I'm glad that you could tell what it was Yes, my hubby was standing on a step ladder and holding it up for me. It's the biggest one I've made so far!

I think this may be the way for me to learn quilting, you know like in grade school we start with GIGANTIC crayons then as our fine motor skills get tuned we use smaller, more narrow ones? Coz, there is NO WAY in the world that I could ever do this on the 1" scale ... or anything else for that matter! Those folks that do mini quilts are AMAZING!
