Ironing question for the braid quilt

I've just started doing a braid quilt as suggested by the latest tutorial, with my binding ruler. Currently I'm pressing down the braid but I'm realizing when I put the panels together the seams will go the same way. If I press up the braid on alternating panels then it is bulky within the braid.. Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Julie, Sam's Mom

Re: Ironing question for the braid quilt

Hi, I just checked a pattern I had for a braid quilt and they show picturing that the fabric on the left side of the braid is "A" and the fabric on the right side is "B" to iron towards "B". It still seems like your seems will be bulky, but it is what is in the pattern. Don't know if that helps or not.

Thanks Karen. I'll give it a try and see if I like that way better. Thanks for the advise.
