Washing a quilt

Hi
Just a quick questions. When you make a rag quilt and wash it do you stick it in the dryer or hang it on the line outside to dry?

Dryer, on high heat... helps it to fray more

Oh, and be sure to check your lint trap every 10 minutes or so to make sure you don't clog your lint trap...

Thanks Cathy wasn't sure it's only the fourth quilt i've ever made and my first rag quilt.
