I agree about Bella solids. I've noticed they are thinner than other fabrics.

In my opinion the Bella fabrics are not as good a
quality as Kona solids. Bought Bella one time for a
machine embroidery quilt, they were on sale and decided
to give them a try. Too thin, returned the fabric.
I Always order Kona solids for embroidery and
pieced quilts, a great quality fabric.
