    This is such a cute idea. It would be great Christmas or it could be made into a birthday runner. It could even be simplified using charms in the middle instead of sashed squares.

    That is cute. I am thinking making the inside out of confetti material and adding a banner that says "It's your day! Celebrate!" That way it would work for birthdays, anniversarys, job promotions or whatever.

          Very cute, Rebecca, Lots of possibilities. I'm with you, just using the charms in the center would certainly cut down on the amount of work involved. Already copied and pasted it into a Word Document!! Thanks for posting this one!!

                      Love this table runner. Saved it to my computer. One question....what type of batting do you use inside? I made a table runner last year for Christmas this year and it seems too thick. I was going to make my next one without batting. What should I be using?

                        I use a thin cotton batting - my favorite is Dream Cotton - Request. Lies nice and flat.

                          Thanks Kathy, I will try that batting this time. I normally use Hobbs 80/20 or Warm & Natural.
