Looking for a great house quilt pattern?

I've been looking for a house pattern for some time.
Nothing seemed to be the "right" pattern.
While searching one day I came across this pattern. Bingo!
Not only a house pattern but a neighborhood...
The pattern is for a wall hanging, I enlarged my blocks
For a lap quilt. This will be a great challenge. Lots of
different fabrics to choose and coordinate and piece.

That one looks really difficult. I think if I was going to make it I'd turn it into a paper-pieced pattern. That way the colors could be marked on the pattern to keep that straight. I'd also enlarge the pattern so there wouldn't be problem with bulk. Paper-piecing takes extra time but, for me, I think it would save a lot of frustration.

There is this cute pattern on Craftsy for $1

If you go to her blog, she does a quilt along for this pattern so you can have a tutorial for all the blocks. I have the pattern and it is on my list.....someday!

The quilt blocks are easy, just log cabin blocks.
The challenge has been to keep the blocks/rows
straight. I just keep blocks labeled as I finish them.
I have had no problems with bulk.
This would be the machine you are using not the pattern.
After quilting for 47 years I need a good challenge.
To improve our quilting skills I think it's necessary to
challenge our selves and move forward in our quilting.
