Quilt Labels
Was looking for a site to get ideas for quilt labels and came across this one. All you have to do is click on the label you want, when it enlarges right click and "save as" on your computer! http://quiltwithus.connectingthreads...s/quilt-labels

Re: Quilt Labels
Love the label! I found some in a quilt shop. They came about 20 to a yard of material. You just cut them out and write or embroider whatever you want on them and sew them down. They have all kinds of designs on them. They come in all different sizes and shapes. Hugs, Jan L P.S. I think I paid 1.99 for them.Home, where each lives for the others and all live for God! ><(((((o>

Re: Quilt Labels
Here's a similar site that I found yesterday. I've never tried printing cloth labels. What do you need to do to get the ink to be color fast? I think this website is for embroidering.

Re: Quilt Labels
Bec, I'm not an expert on printing on fabric, although I have done it several times. I do know that the last time I bought fabric that was specifically designed for printing the instructions on the box stated the type of printer needed and whether or not it was colorfast and would withstand washing. The pictures I printed were of my granddaughters and I put them in a small quilt for their father. I do know that he has never had the quilt laundered because it isn't in use all the time. It still looks great. I have also just printed on white cotton and done a wall-hanging that wasn't intended to be laundered . . . can't honestly say how it held up because it was a gift long ago.Sometimes, when there's a raging fire,

Re: Quilt Labels
I have been checking on the photo fabric and found this site that gives quite a bit of info on printer inks and washability.
I saw a video by Nancy Zeiman using the Bubble Jet Set, it looked fairly easy to use but several steps to it. Hope this helps.Mary

Re: Quilt Labels
Just want to let everyone know that I do machine embroidered quilt labels. The ones you print out are okay, but they do fade and wash out after time. Contact me for more information
