I really like how they pointed out to use cotton thread if it would be exposed to heat. Remember everybody, polyester thread melts. About.com has alot of free quilt block patterns. I would assume that you could use one of theirs if you don't have the McCall's pattern that they tell you to use. Does anyone know the finished size of the block in this pattern?
