This looks like a good tool to have. Thank you.

of course I would call these place that I would have mapped out -- just to be sure they are still in business and/or to see if they are a brick and mortar shop or just an online store

Thanks for a wonderful link on a bleak and stormy day - and I'm not just talking weather.

When I left it at the 15 mile radius there was one quilt shop that popped up and it is closed - so it is a good idea to call first.

there are a few of the LQS near me that are not on the list - but I would not recommend those store -- one shop only has a sale once in a while and one sale person ''treats'' you as you are stupid instead of sharing a bit their knowledge -- and the other one -- I won't buy their fabric b'cuz I don't want to pay extra for the cat hair that is all over their fabric . . *huge UGH*~

LOL Jean . . . most likely - these LQS that are not listed -- don't even know about the website to list themselves/store in the directory

Thank you for the website. I did my town and sadly, the map for my area is outdated as many that they listed no longer exist. And the wrong address for M*. Hopefully other areas are more updated. It would be nice to still have a quilt store in my town. Although I would probably be spending way too much in there.
