Okay - this is the test block (came out a bit "wonky" --- in too much hurry i guess - and the instructions will have to be rewritten to complete the block shown (ripper is my friend today! lol )) I think it will be a beautiful swap block! what do y'all think?

Suzi, very pretty. Looks difficult. Is this for a BOM or charity quilt or one of your own?

I got a sewing machine for my husband. Good trade, huh!?!

I really like this block, it works very nice with patriotic theme Glad I am not the only one that has a few re-do's to get it right. Never would have guessed by finished product.
To quilt or not to quilt?.....what a ridiculous question!

If this is done in patriotic colors/themes....I'd love to be part of the swap!!!

You did a terrific job on the block, Suzi!!

I'm definitely interested. I'll be back in the states for the month of June, so I could get mine done and in the mail before heading back to the UK.

I'd love to try joining a block swap but this looks too difficult for me.

Looks kind of challenging, are there inset seams?

I'd love to start now since my LQS will be getting in all their patriotic prints anytime now....you can send me the instructions to

                              msunderstood_one (at) yahoo dot com

If you would, could you put quilt block, or something quilt related in the subject line just in case it gets sent to my junk mail I will be able to find it easier.
I like the idea of only doing 16 blocks...doesnt seem so overwhelming this way!

                              Thanks so much!!
