    Re: Check This out !

Yes, they are cool. I am such a dunce though that it took me about an hour to do the first block. I got the fold in the middle part on the wrong side and then it took forever to get the side blocks right - as to which side went up or down or whatever, but once you figure it out and get it done, it does only take about 10 minutes. Most of that 10 minute time is getting the middle part to open up nicely to pin it down to sew. I actually did 3 blocks and now just need to sew them together for a small table runner. I'll have to post it when done someday. I think a large quilt would go pretty fast.

Arent these fabulous?! The book is on back order from Border's...I ordered it 3 weeks ago, and they just shipped it on Friday. I got my layer cakes from MSQC yesterday so I'm all set to try this!
I did try this technique with charm squares, but my fingers wouldnt cooperate with the smaller version, so I'm hoping the layer cake size will be better. It really is easy...I just have bum fingers

I also ordered her other book...Twist and Turn. I'm excited to finish up the 2 projects I'm working on now so I can get started on these projects!!

Hubby and I spent a week in Savannah and Tybee Island over a year ago. He laughed at me because I sounded just like everyone else. I had caught the accent!! Such a beautiful place.
