Re: one seam flying geese
love this idea for making flying geese too but i have a question.... what about that little pocket? wouldn't that get in the way of quilting? and stay sometimes open on the finished project? Two of my favorite things, to encourage and to be encouraged

Re: one seam flying geese
Suzi, I've made lots of these and never had a problem with them. If you are quilting it then yes be mindful that the presser foot doesn't catch in there, but they do sit fairly flat.
I love these, they look so nice and are so easy to make but do use a little more fabric than cutting with the easy angle rulers, but no more than using the connector corner method.Lynn

Re: one seam flying geese
I posted the same thing a while back ...and have made the one seam flying geese ..its very quick and easy in fact I made a christmas tree out of them and thank you for reminding me lol ....I can get it out to use for the upcoming holiday season. I also did not find the little pocket a problem..once I starched it rather well it became totally flat and did not present a problem. One Moment at a time
