    scalloped edge

    I want to make a quilt with a scalloped edge, anyone have a tutorial or instructions on how to do this ? Thanks !

    hI Guys! I use the quilt in a day ruler for doing my scalloped edges, and i am planning a tutorial on that when I get back from Sweden! So hang tight and it will be a few weeks and then watcvh for it!

            I saw the ruler when I was at the shop yesterday. I know they have been filming away on the tutorials, so hopefully they filmed this as well. I've never attempted one either!

                Yes, Jan! Any news? Hillbilly(Tonya) said she'd do some pics for me explaining so I'm sure she'll put them on here, so excited to learn to sash! Right now I have too many projects going so I'm committed to finishing them coz I'm doing this all day ...

                  I have used a dinner/butter plate before to do scallops,but you must check to make sure you will not over ride the last scallop, so measure first all one down one side.One time i used a large spool to make scallops on a blouse.HTH
                  Quilting is good therapy.

                    I am just trying to figure out when to blog them in the whole scheme of things!! I usually do 'quiltsy' posts on Mondays. I sure wish that I knew how to do pdf files then I could just type it all up with pics and you could download it. I wonder if googledocs would be of help. (I've never even made a spreadsheet!!) It will get to the blog eventually, but I am sure you need it now!
