Cool, but curves? Not sure I could do this one!

I agree Sherri, I wouldn't make it either. I am not fond of curves.

Cute quilt but I am not ready to give curves a spin. I have enough trouble with straight lines!

I like this one and not so afraid of curves. It would also be a fast quilt. I'm not certain I would get another ruler, but maybe when I run out of projects.

On my list. I am glad I bought this ruler!

Oh that's like a large drunkard's path block. Love doing those. i simply pin in center, then ends or sides. then in between a bit but most do not pin more. seems to help me. larger curves are even easier so this quilt looks very do able.

I love Jennys combination of Drunkards path with a large HST. So amazing how little fabric waste there is.

I need to work on my reluctance to do curves.

I took a class called "Practically Pinless Curves" before I knew that curves were tough. The class basically taught the same method that Jenny teaches! If you start with a good template like M*'s, curves are not as scary as they seem. In other words, don't let fear stand in your way if you like this pattern!

I love this pattern as well. I have only been sewing a couple of years, but i went ahead and dove into the Clamshell quilt after being afraid of curves, and i have to say, after about 10 of them, they become really fun! Follow her tutorial and you'll be fine. Practice first. Now I can't wait to try this pattern.

I didn't think I wanted to go near curves, but I am hooked on them now! Practice a few first, then you'll be fine.
