Lorie, I love this.

My first stab at FMQ had a similar look, although I had four petals per flower and didn't line things up as well with my quilt blocks. This is a really good method for those of us who suffer from the if-we-try-to-meander-we'll-stitch-ourselves-into-a-corner fear!
