OK, here's where being mathematically challenged comes into play.
Finished is 38". I need at least 68".
How in the world do you figure out making it longer?

Just keep adding strips is the easy answer!

            Well duh.....no math involved.
Sometimes the simplest solution is the hardest one to see.

Thanks Lisa. I really like the colours of the bottom one.

I have been sitting on several, I mean several, 1 - 2 yard pieces of fabric and afraid to cut into them until I found something that I really liked. This may be it.

Help! I'm using a pattern that looks very similar to this runner, but its a full quilt. The trouble comes with making it square, as in adding setting triangles in the ends. I KNOW that there has to be a simple solution to NOT using set in seams. Like can't the triangle be cut in half, sewn onto each side than together? But what would the math be???
