Has anyone made one of these quilt as you go projects? Are there any tricks that might help me?

Have you seen Jenny's excellent tutorial HERE?
This is how I did my eggs HERE.
For table runners like the one under here I started in the middle
so even faster!
And you can also add strips slanted or add whole "blocks"!
