    Lint Lifting Tip

Was working on my Ohio Stars quilt which has black material for the backing. The black accumulated a lot of lint. I used strips of blue painters tape to remove the lint. Was able to use the same piece of tape over several areas before it lost all its stickiness.

Tried to post a short video but max post wise was exceeded.

Great tip & thanks! I've been known to wrap scotch tape around my hand (sticky side out) and dabbed & patted off lint like that. When it's stickiness is gone I just spin the tape around my hand & use the side that was on the back side of my hand. Now does that make sense?

A good idea! I just use a damp washcloth.

I keep a lint roller at my machine. I keep Painters tape for small areas where the lint roller is too big.

I had a few rolls of 4" tape and use this all the time.

I use clear packing tape. Long strips that I just lay and lift, lay and lift, over and over. Great for CAT hair.
