    Christmas Tree Pin

Posted this yesterday on my blog....

    http://aliaslaceygreen.com/2012/11/2...hristmas-tree/

The answers to questions I've been asked so far.... Use glue if you want to add anything heavier than micro beads. Or don't add anything along edges, or use flocking or....its a pretty wide open project!!!

    Enjoy!

Your Christmas tree pins look great.

          I love these, so unique.

Just a quick question - can you explain what Peltex is, please. It's not something I've come across in the UK.

            Re: Christmas Tree Pin

Great idea. I found a book of mosaic patterns and have been saving my tiny triangles (1/2 of the 2.5 inch triangles that end up scrapped) for my 8 yr old son and my 4 yr old granddaughter to make decoupage pictures. They both love to make stuff and I just couldn't throw out even the tiniest of pieces. Maybe they can do something like this for gifts as well.

            Thank you!

I've looked at your blog several times, looked at your Christmas Tree in awe, and just echo what others say. Amazing what one can do when their mind is left alone, right? You are truly creative!

Totally don't need Christmasy fabrics... by the time you finish....you can't ID the fabrics!

Wow! It looks like it took many steps to do, but the pins came out beautiful!
