    Mitered binding

This is a link showing how to make a mitered binding for your quilt. I use this method almost
all the time and it is so easy and never have any trouble with it. It gives you a nice mitered corner.
Make sure you read all of the 6 pages in the instructions.

It's easier to watch Jenny do the tutorial on binding. And on the bias binding and on the miter corners she does when she binds. And the hand stitching she does to sew it down.
    Check the tutorial out.
