    Progress with double batting

    Hi

This is how far I have come on the double batting test quilt.

It is the perfect loft that I have been looking for .

The only issue is that Boris ( sewing machine ) throws temper tantrum as soon as I stitch backwards.

I will try to figure out how to loosen the pressure on the feet so the quilt foot is not holding on so hard.

I will probably fill with some straight lines between the feathers to make them pop.

Your feathers look great and the double batting really shows them off. If you are doing a whole quilt like this you have your work cut out for you! But if anybody can do it, you can. Well, you or Denise, her work is amazing too.

Those feathers are amazing. Maybe Boris just needs a good cleaning and oiling if it is only acting up when you go backwards.

That is an amazing quilt! Sorry Boris is misbehaving! I had to put one of my machines in time out yesterday for messing up repeatedly!

                Thank you all !

I have decided on making straight lines to make the feathers pop but for now it will have to wait.

I am having to much fun quilting Tilo´s quilt. I have finished outlining the dogs and some of the words.

And on 2 blocks I have made 1" gridwork as a background. It is starting to look nice !

Picture will come as soon as I have made some more progress.

                Have a nice day/Evening
