Re: How to Tuck Fold a Quilt for gift giving

When I am gifting a quilt I fold it in half lengthwise, then fold over again, so I have a very long narrow piece. Then I fold one end over the from edge to edge, then I start rolling it from the edges to the folded center. Make a very nice log shape then tie it in the middle with a fabric strip and make a bow. They store very well standing on end, I make a lot of these for Child and Family Service moms and kids, and also my family.

Thanks so much for sharing. It is not silly--it is an awesome way to fold a quilt.

Will definitely try this - I always struggle with making them look good when folded.

    TFS!!
