He has been away in the shop for a while but is now better.

Boy, Am I rusty with my fmq. It is practise time for me.

I gotta get in shape because I am planning on finish my lone star this easter holiday and then I got to quilt it !

And I have no idea yet on what pattern to fmq, but it will come ,

Aw, Annika, how nice for you to be re-united with Boris. I hope to hear that you sewed and stitched all day long!!!
Toni ... If I keep sewing long enough, will they make their own dinner?

      Re: Finally !

Thank you! I have been practise my fmq for almost 3 hour straight and I am so happy !

The first two quilt sandwiches were not good but this last one is getting to bee good.

Now my arms need rest even though I still want to quilt on I will listen to my body.
Besides it is getting late here so it is time for bed anyhow.

I had to take my machine in yesterday, but she should be home soon. Glad Boris is back where he belongs. Maybe he missed you too? I have other machines, but this is the one I LOve to sew with. So I'm missing her badly. I can't imagine that your fmq has suffered while Boris was in the shop. Your quilting is beautiful.

Welcome home, Boris. Annika, I really dislike (HATE) when my machine has to go in for medical treatment. SEW very glad that Boris has been declared well and ready to be discharged to your loving care. Happy quilting.

I envy you with the FMQ. I have tried but to no avail. I NEED lots and lots of practice.

So do I. I can promise you that whit practise and only looking at what you done at at least 2 meters distance you will be better !

I looked back on some of my early practise example and compared them with some more recent and I could see my improvement.
Even if I could not see it before the comparison.

So keep on practise and you will get there !

Annika, your practice really paid off! I remember that beautiful whole cloth quilt you did! It was a masterpiece!
