    I use this same seam ripper. I get more done and make less mistakes with this one. I like the extra blades that come with it. It is very sharp so user beware.

      I think I am set on the Havel Ultra Pro for a blade type cutter. Now to settle on a regular type... I'm liking the idea of a retractable seam ripper Carolyn. I'll definitely be looking into that one.

        If you can get it, my very all-time favorite is the white ripper that comes with the Bernina machine. If you are close to a Bernina shop, they generally carry this in their notions' department.
