    10-inch Square Papers

I have a package of unopened papers from M* that measure 10-inches square. All I can think of to use them for is a
string quilt. Does anyone know of another quilt pattern or tutorial that uses them?

Do you have a photo of the papers? Are there any line drawings or name on them?

The name on them is Missouri Star Quilt Co., www. MissouriQuiltCo.com. There are no line drawings on them.

If so, these should be able to be used on a copier or printer, so you can create or download virtually any paper piecing pattern you want, and copy it to these papers.

You can try paper piecing. This project is on my list. As you can see I hunted down the templet, and I bought the fabric too. I just haven't committed to it yet. I did cut the papers down to go through the printer.

I cut mine down to 9.5" square and used them for the bordered periwinkle tutorial. They always seem to be out of the right size when I place an order.

Yes. The M* name and website are printed all over one side in red, and the other side of the paper is blank.

I also did a bordered periwinkle with mine but didn't cut them down, just cut them diagonally, with the border fabric and a layer cake cut up it covered the paper just fine.

A bordered periwinkle sounds like a good way to use these papers, and a diagonal cut would be quick and easy to do. I've made a regular periwinkle quilt and I really like the bordered version on Jenny's tutorial. Thanks to everyone for your replies.

I did trim mine to the size of the diagonally cut paper after all the fabric was sewn on.
